  • Chicken- 750 grams.
  • Coriander leaves- 150 grams.
  • Green chillies- 9 pcs.
  • Ginger-garlic paste- 2 tsp
  • Lemon leaves- 1
  • Onion- 2 large size.
  • Turmeric powder- 1 tsp.
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder- 1/2 tsp.
  • Cardamom- 3
  • Cloves- 4
  • Cinnamon- one piece.
  • Bay leaves- 3
  • Chilli- 2 pcs.
  • Cumin powder- 1 tsp.
  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp.
  • Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp.
  • Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp.
  • Salt- as per taste.
  • White oil- 4 tbsp.
  • Sugar- 1/2 tsp.
  • Water- 2 cups.

Steps for Making Dhaniya Chicken Curry Recipe

Step 1

To make dhaniya chicken recipe (coriander chicken recipe) first make a paste. For this, the main ingredient of this recipe will be 150 grams of coriander leaves. I will take 6 raw chillies with it. Now take them together in a mixer. Mix well with little water to make a paste.

Step 2

Now to make dhaniya chicken (dhaniya chicken recipe), some garlic and ginger should be made into a good paste. Now peel 2 large onions and finely chop them.

Now we will marinate the chicken to make Coriander Chicken. We will use 750 grams of chicken to make this recipe. You can keep the amount of chicken as per your wish. First, wash the chicken thoroughly with water 2 to 3 times. Once the chickens are washed, marinate them.

When you see an aroma coming out of the boil then add 2 medium sized onion slices. Now keep the gas flame on medium and fry the onion well. Fry the onion for 3 to 4 minutes.

Step 7

When you see that the color of the onion has turned light brown, add the pre-marinated chicken. Now mix the marinated chicken well with the onion. Cook like this for 2 to 3 minutes.

After 3 minutes, add some homemade spices to the chicken. Here we will add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder. At the same time add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt. Now increase the gas flame and fry the chicken. Saute the chicken on high flame for 4 to 5 minutes. But keep stirring the chicken constantly while grilling, otherwise the spiced chicken may stick to the pan.

After 5 minutes you will see that the masala has started to release oil well. Now add 2 cups of water in it. Now cover the kadai with a lid and cook for 15 minutes. At this time reduce the flame of gas. But every 5 minutes, open the lid and give the chickens a little shake.
