How to Make Paneer Butter Masala Ingredients

  • Cheese- 300 grams
  • Cashew nuts- 40 grams
  • Cloves- 6
  • Cardamom- 8 pcs.
  • Cinnamon- 2 pieces.
  • Star anise- 2 tbsp.
  • Jayatri- 1.
  • Pepper- 1 tsp.
  • Tomatoes- 4
  • Pea pods- 1 cup.
  • Fennel- 1 tsp.
  • Cumin- 1/2 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder- 1 tsp.
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder- 2 tsp.
  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp.
  • Ginger Glove- 1 tsp.
  • Raw chilli flakes- 1 tsp.
  • Sugar- 1 tsp.
  • Sour yogurt- 2 tsp.
  • Salt- as per taste.
  • White oil- 30 ml.
  • Kasuri Methi- 1 tsp.
  • Water- like quantity.
  • Coriander leaves- little.

Step 1: Make tomato paste

To make Paneer Masala dry Recipe, first take 4 medium size tomatoes and cut them roughly. Now make a tomato paste by mixing tomatoes with little water in a mixer.

Step 2: Making cashew paste

Now for Paneer Masala Recipe, some spices and cashew nuts should be fried and made into a paste. For this put 6 cloves, 8 small cardamoms, 2 pieces of cinnamon, 2 star anise, 1 jaitri and 1 teaspoon pepper in a pan on the stove. Now keep the gas stove on medium and fry the spices well. When you see light smoke coming out from the masala along with a good smell, then you will know that the masala is roasted. Now keep this fried masala in a container.

There is one more thing to do to make the cashew paste. For this, heat well with 30ml white oil in a hot kadai. When the oil is hot, add about 40 grams of cashew nuts to the hot oil and stir fry for a while. Cashew nuts are roasted when they turn light red. For this, add 1 teaspoon of fennel, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon of crushed ginger and 1 teaspoon of raw chili flakes to the oil for frying the cheese. Then stir them for a while on medium heat and add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder and 2 teaspoon of Kashmiri chili powder for color. Now mix the spices well and add the prepared tomato paste.

Now mix the tomato paste well with the masala. Then add 1 teaspoon of sugar and salt according to taste. Cover and cook the tomatoes well for 10 to 15 minutes. At this time, keep the heat of the oven medium.

After 10 minutes open the lid and you will see that the spices have released a good amount of oil and a nice color has come. You will know that the tomatoes are cooked. Now add cashew paste prepared in the gravy for another five minutes. In the meantime, reduce the heat of the gas and add 2 teaspoons of sour curd to the gravy. Mix the curd well.
