  • The fish fillets should be cleaned, then dried with a towel. Mix the fish in a bowl with ginger-garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. To fully absorb the flavors, let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • All-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and a dash of salt should be combined in a different basin. Create a smooth, lump-free batter with a consistency similar to pancakes by stirring in the water gradually.
  • Make sure the fish fillets are evenly coated before frying the fish fillets that have been marinated.
  • Over medium heat, preheat the oil in a deep frying pan. When the oil is hot, carefully add the battered fish fillets to it. Fry till golden and crispy. Don’t crowd the pan; if necessary, fry in batches.
  • In a bowl, place two beaten eggs. To ensure they are covered with a lacy net of breadcrumbs and egg, dip the fried fish fillets into the beaten eggs, then directly into the breadcrumbs.
