Fish Kabiraji make it at home.

Use this recipe to make a wonderful Fish Kabiraji. Remember that the amounts listed are estimates that can be changed to suit your tastes.

  • Fish fillets(Boneless)- The main component in Fish Kabiraji is boneless fish fillets, most frequently bhetki or white fish. The fish is used for the dish’s basis because of its mild and delicate flavor.
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste- Garlic and ginger are combined to make a paste. When used to marinade fish, this paste imparts a strong, aromatic flavor that enhances the fish’s flavor.
  • Red chili powder- Made from red chili peppers that have been dried and powdered, red chili powder gives the fish marinade a fiery kick that contrasts well with the crispy skin.
  • Turmeric Powder- With its vivid yellow color, turmeric powder gives food a lovely coloring and a warm, earthy flavor.
  • Garam Masala- A mixture of several ground spices is called garam masala.
  • Salt- Salt is a crucial component to season the fish and improve its flavor.
  • Eggs- Eggs are used to make the lacy net-like coating and the marinated fish coating.
  • Maida- The batter used to coat the fish before frying is made with maida, cornstarch, and other ingredients.
  • Oil- Fish cutlets are deep-fried in oil to make them crispy and golden-brown on the outside and tender and moist on the inside.

  • The fish fillets should be cleaned, then dried with a towel. Mix the fish in a bowl with ginger-garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. To fully absorb the flavors, let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • All-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and a dash of salt should be combined in a different basin. Create a smooth, lump-free batter with a consistency similar to pancakes by stirring in the water gradually.
  • Make sure the fish fillets are evenly coated before frying the fish fillets that have been marinated.
  • Over medium heat, preheat the oil in a deep frying pan. When the oil is hot, carefully add the battered fish fillets to it. Fry till golden and crispy. Don’t crowd the pan; if necessary, fry in batches.
  • In a bowl, place two beaten eggs. To ensure they are covered with a lacy net of breadcrumbs and egg, dip the fried fish fillets into the beaten eggs, then directly into the breadcrumbs.
  • Cutlets of Fish Kabiraji are removed from the oil and placed on paper towels to absorb any remaining oil.
