  1. Boil and grate the potatoes. They should not be too mushy.
  2. Take all the ingredients together and mix them well and divide them into as many parts as many kofta balls you want.
  3. Preheat the pan with oil and if the oil is hot enough, put the kofta balls in and fry them.
  4. Remember that they should not stick to the bottom of the pan.

  3. Now, add 2 cups of water and cook till the mixture becomes mushy.
  4. Take the mixture after it cools and put it in a blender and blend till it becomes as smooth as butter. Strain it to get the puree.

  6. After you preheat a pan with 2 tablespoons of oil, add 1 and ½ tablespoons of ginger garlic paste, a bay leaf, a couple of green cardamoms and a cinnamon piece. Saute this mixture for a minute.
  7. Add salt and sugar to taste. Also add coriander powder, and a teaspoon each of red chilli and garam masala.
  8. Saute this mixture and keep cooking. Add a little every 3 or 4 minutes and cook until the gravy becomes quite thick. In total, it will take about 15 to 20 minutes.
  9. When you see traces of oil, add a kasuri methi to the mixture and then add 3 or 4 tablespoons of cream on low flame. Mix this well and let it cool.
