Here we will discuss how to make Mutton roast recipe with 2 kg of mutton. However, for making bhuna gosht, a few things need to be kept in mind. First of all, the mutton is cleaned with good water while cutting. So if the mutton pieces don’t have much blood or etc then washing once is enough. We use mutton pieces to make Mutton Bhuna recipe

I will take 100 to 150 grams of bullets. Because even at the end of roasting the mutton, the mutton melts and becomes smaller, so it is better to keep a little bit bigger. Also use fatty mutton to make mutton roast. And separately, quite a bit of fat should be taken. This added fat enhances the taste of Mutton roast recipe.

Step 3: Chop the onion

A very important ingredient for making mutton bhuna is onion. To make this recipe, you need to use onion in moderation. If it is less or more but the quality of cooking may be poor. Always use half the amount of onion as the amount of mutton you would use to make Mutton Bhuna. Here we have taken 2 kg of mutton, that means 1 kg of onion should be used.

Now cut this onion well. For this, peel the onion well and cut the onions into slices. Remember not to slice the onion too thinly. Because the onion will be cooked with the mutton from the beginning, the onion will melt completely.

Step 4: Prepare Mutton Bhuna

Now to make mutton bhuna, place it on a large gas burner and heat it. When the paste is hot, add 100 ml of white oil and some ghee. Two bay leaves should be given at the same time. When the fat of the mutton starts to melt, add the chopped onion. Let’s say here, don’t use all the onions here at once. 80 percent should be given with chopped onions. The remaining 20 percent will be used later. Add salt according to taste.

Now stir well and fry the onion. It should be fried till the onions turn brown. When the onions are fried, add 2 kg of mutton in it. No further use is required at this time. Now fry the mutton well with onion for some time. At some point you will see the fat in the mutton melting and releasing the oil. Then the remaining 200 grams of onion should be added. Now mix the mutton with onions well and cook for 20 to 25 minutes with the lid closed.

After 25 minutes open the door and you will see a fragrance coming out from the mutton. On the other hand, the color of the mutton has also changed a lot. Add 3 teaspoons of ginger garlic paste and 2 teaspoons of green chilly paste for spice. Now mix them well with mutton and fry for a while. Until the raw smell of ginger garlic is gone.
