  • Ginger-garlic paste- 3 tsp.
  • Chilli paste- 2 tsp.
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder- 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder- 1.5 tsp.
  • Coriander powder- 2 tsp.
  • Sour yogurt- 100 grams.
  • Salt – For taste.
  • Water- As per quantity.

Easy way to make Mutton Bhuna || Mutton Roasted Recipe Steps

Step 1: Mutton Bhuna Secret Masala

First of all, for making roast mutton we have to make a powdered masala. For this, heat a pan by turning on the gas flame. Now we will use some whole spices to make masala. These include 1 dry chili, 1 teaspoon of whole coriander, 1/2 teaspoon of whole cumin, 2 teaspoons of black pepper, 4 large cardamoms, 1 piece of cinnamon. Add them to the hot pan. Add 1/2 tsp salt along with it. Fry the masala well on medium gas flame. The masala should be roasted till it emits good aroma and smoke.

When the masala is roasted well, keep it in a bowl. Then wait for some time until the fried masala cools down. When it cools down, take it in a mixer and grind it well. If you don’t have a mixer, you can grind it with a sieve. This powdered masala doubles the taste of mutton roast. So while making mutton bhuna, you must follow this method to make masala.

Here we will discuss how to make Mutton roast recipe with 2 kg of mutton. However, for making bhuna gosht, a few things need to be kept in mind. I will take 100 to 150 grams of bullets. Because even at the end of roasting the mutton, the mutton melts and becomes smaller, so it is better to keep a little bit bigger. Step 3: Chop the onion

The remaining 20 percent will be used later. Add salt according to taste.

Now stir well and fry the onion. It should be fried till the onions turn brown. When the onions are fried, add 2 kg of mutton in it. No further use is required at this time. Now fry the mutton well with onion for some time. At some point you will see the fat in the mutton melting and releasing the oil. Then the remaining 200 grams of onion should be added. Now mix the mutton with onions well and cook for 20 to 25 minutes with the lid closed.

After 25 minutes open the door and you will see a fragrance coming out from the mutton. On the other hand, the color of the mutton has also changed a lot. Add 3 teaspoons of ginger garlic paste and 2 teaspoons of green chilly paste for spice. Now mix them well with mutton and fry for a while. Until the raw smell of ginger garlic is gone.

When the raw smell of ginger and garlic is gone, add some home-made spices to it. Here we will add 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder, 1.5 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp coriander powder, and salt to taste for color. Basically, there is no need to add any more spices here. Now mix all these spices well with the mutton. Now cover and cook for 4 minutes.

After 4 minutes open the lid and you will see a lot of oil from the mutton. The masala is also cooked well. Now water should be given through it. You will give the water according to the quantity. Then mix the mutton with water well. Then add 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg powder. Now cover again and cook for 50 minutes. But sometimes open the lid and shake the mutton, otherwise there is a possibility of sticking.

Open the lid after 50 minutes and you will see a lot of oil coming out of the mutton. Now add 100 grams of sour curd and 2 teaspoons of mutton bhuna masala (the method of making bhuna masala is given in step 1). After cooking for another 5 minutes with a lid, the mutton roast masala is ready.
